I’m Andy Miller and I run Credo FS. This page explains, in plain English, what data I collect when you use this website, why I collect it, and what your rights are. If anything here isn’t clear, email me on andy@credofs.co.uk and I’ll explain.
Who’s the data controller?
Andy Miller, trading as Credo FS (sole trader).
4 Theaks Mews, Taunton, Somerset TA1 3EY.

What data I collect
I only collect the data I need. There are three ways I might end up with information about you:
- You contact me. If you fill in the contact form, send a WhatsApp message, book a Calendly call, or email me, I’ll have your name, contact details and whatever you tell me about your business.
- You browse the site. If you accept analytics cookies, I’ll see anonymised data about which pages get visited and roughly where in the country visitors are coming from. I can’t identify you from this.
- You become a client. If we end up working together I’ll keep records of our work, agreements, and any system details I need to do my job properly.
Why I’m allowed to use it (lawful basis)
- Legitimate interest — replying to enquiries you’ve sent me.
- Consent — for analytics cookies. You can turn this off any time.
- Contract — for clients, to deliver the work you’ve hired me for.
- Legal obligation — to keep tax and accounting records as required by law.
Who else sees your data
I keep things simple. The companies that handle bits of your data on my behalf are:
- Cloudflare — hosts this website (security, delivery).
- Google Analytics 4 — if you’ve accepted analytics cookies. IP-anonymised.
- Calendly — if you book a call, your name and email go to Calendly so it can manage the booking.
- Resend — delivers contact form emails to my inbox.
- Email provider — receives any messages you send me.
I don’t sell your data. I don’t share it with anyone outside this list without telling you first.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don’t turn into work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of our work plus 6 years (HMRC requirement).
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 default of 14 months.
- Cookie preferences: 12 months in your browser, then I’ll ask again.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- Ask what data I hold about you.
- Ask me to correct anything that’s wrong.
- Ask me to delete it (where I’m not legally required to keep it).
- Ask me to stop using it for a particular purpose.
- Ask for a copy in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for analytics any time, by clicking .
To use any of these, just email me on andy@credofs.co.uk. I’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re not happy
If you think I’ve handled your data badly, please tell me first so I can put it right. If we can’t resolve it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Cookies on this site
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores. I use as few as possible, in two groups:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| credo-consent | Remembers your cookie choice so I don’t ask every visit. | 12 months | Essential |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 — anonymous visitor stats. Only set if you accept analytics. | Up to 24 months | Analytics |
| Calendly cookies | Set by calendly.com only when you open the booking widget. | Session / 1 year | Third party |
To change your choice at any time, click .
Changes to this notice
If I change anything significant I’ll update the date at the top of the page. For minor wording fixes I won’t.
